If you wish to bring pets with you when you move to the Netherlands, you would be well advised to contact the customs authorities and ask whether any special restrictions apply to the type of pet in question. However, the majority of pets can be brought with you without any problem. Please note that you should be able to supply the following documents (obtainable from a vet):
- a health certificate if the animal is less than four months
- a rabies certificate if the animal is more than three months
There are no restrictions on bringing your plants to the Netherlands, provided they are not listed as endangered species.
