Seeking: Full-time salaried employment.
Dear Madam/Sir,
I am a 26 years old Romanian looking for a job in the Netherlands. I have arrived here a bit over 1 year ago, because I have followed the classes of a Master's programme on European Studies on Society, Science and Technology.
I have spent the last eleven years tailoring my knowledge in different fields. As a first step, I followed the classes of the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, the French and English department. After four years, I obtained the bachelor degree and became a member of the group of translators authorized by the Romanian Ministry of Justice. In order to be better prepared, thus with knowledge in as many fields as possible, I have also studied Finance and Banks, at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration from Timisoara, Romania. Afterwards, starting with August 2008, I followed a Master’s Programme at the University of Maastricht, in the Netherlands, in “European Studies on Society, Science and Technology: Governance and Culture of Innovation”. There, I obtained a Socrates grant and left to study “Politics of Knowledge: Risk Assessment and Communication”, in France, at the University “Louis Pasteur”, Strasbourg. This gave me the opportunity to get accustomed to the European framework, as both universities have strong international orientation. I could also improve my level of fluency in French and English.
