It's Spring Fever!

March 21 this week marks the equinox and official start of spring. And that means that the clocks are about to go forward and the evenings will be getting a lot lighter! That's right - it's this weekend that summer time begins across Europe!

Warmer weather on the way?

The US and Canada have been on daylight savings time for over a week, having moved the changeover date forward this year as an energy-saving measure. And now it's Europe's turn: don't forget to set your clocks, watches, mobile telephones, VCRs and satellite receivers forward by one hour on Sunday morning.

Now find out what spring weather is on the way.

The AngloINFO Weather page gives you the forecast at locations across the country. You can even personalise the weather page to suit you: set a particular place as your default weather location and it will appear automatically each time you load up the page. (It'll also be the location for the weather report you get on the site's front page.)

Find out:

  • The temperature

  • How the temperature actually feels (taking into account elements such as wind-chill and humidity)

  • Whether it's sunny, cloudy, raining, foggy...

  • The UV index, dew point, humidity, wind-speed and direction, air pressure and visibility

  • A seven-day forecast for the location, giving you the likely general conditions, high/low temperatures, wind, humidity and the likelihood of rain

And if you want to see the weather that's on the way, click the link to recent satellite image.
