From time to time, those who live somewhere other than their home country need short-term accommodation to put up visiting family and friends. Equally, anyone still planning a move may need a base while house-hunting, or somewhere to stay while exploring an area to see if it's going to be the right place to call home.

Apart from hotels - and there are plenty of those across the region - you could stay in a B&B or self-catering accommodation, or perhaps at a campsite.
